Throughout my use of the Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS3, here’s what stood out for me:
What’s Hot
Really compact, small enough for pockets
Lightweight

Supports up to 4GB SDs
A battery that lasts the entire day
VGA (640 x 480) video capture capability

I’ve shared some info on the naming convention used by Sony Ericsson. Again, I turn to Wikipedia, which has a very detailed article on how Nokia names its phones.
For those who’ve been under a rock for the past 10 years, the top cell phone manufacturer in the world usually uses four digits to designate its […]

If you were a child of the 1970’s and 1980’s like me then you probably remember the Nintendo (NES) Entertainment System and the Super Nintendo gaming systems.
I’m guessing that a lot of the Gadget Blog readers might still own fully working console systems and have a box full of dusty game cartridges like I do […]

Belkin’s latest power-strip adds a very smart feature for travelers: USB ports.
The strip has a couple of charge-only sockets along with the three-way mains AC extenders and even comes with a mini-USB cable, obviating the need to carry chargers for most gadgets.

It initially seems odd that Logitech would launch a Mac-only webcam: All Macs but the Mini and Pro have a built in iSight camera.
Reading the specs gives the answer — the QuickCam Vision Pro is a significant step up in performance from the built-in option.
The two megapixel Quickcam can supply 720p video via an […]

Thanks to whoever added some detailed Sony Ericsson naming info on Wikipedia. Just as the last two letter of BMW models indicate the vehicle’s displacement, there’s a story behind each Sony Ericsson name. Continue to read a snippet of the article, edited for readability.

So here’s my first update on what’s happened with my Address Book Picture Experiment. So far I’ve had 5 people agree to have their picture taken for my cell phone’s address book, 2 refusals, and 1 outright no.
A little clarification regarding the 2 refusals. Both of them really didn’t see the point of posing for […]
